Description

Join us at the Wallkill River National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters for a tree planting! Make sure to wear old clothes and shoes that can get dirty because the planting location may be wet. Shovels, work gloves and rubber boots will be provided. You can sign up for the Morning (9:30AM-12:00PM), Afternoon (1:00PM-3:30PM) or the Whole Day (9:30AM-3:30PM) Please pack a lunch if staying the whole day. Bottled water will be provided by Coleen Waid of Dazzle by Design. This is a partnership with The Lake Mohawk Preservation Foundation to benefit the Wallkill River Watershed Management Group, US Fish and Wildlife Service and the NJ Watershed Ambassadors Program.
